What is NOx Sensor? — A Brief Introduction about NOx Sensor

Whether it is long-distance passenger carrying or logistics transportation, heavy diesel vehicles play a very important role in people's daily life. However, due to the characteristics of diesel, the tail gas emitted by heavy-duty diesel vehicles contains nitrogen oxides and other harmful substances that cause serious air pollution. It is estimated that there are about 21 million heavy-duty diesel vehicles in China, accounting for only 4.4% of the total number of vehicles in China, but the nitrogen oxides and particulate matter emitted by them account for 85% and 65% of the total vehicle emissions respectively. Therefore, in order to improve air quality and reduce pollution, the Chinese government refers to foreign emission standards and stipulates that the national six emission standards for heavy diesel vehicles will be implemented nationwide from July 1, 2021. In order to respond to national policies and protect the environment, two nitrogen and oxygen sensors need to be installed on each national six heavy-duty diesel vehicle. What is the nitrogen and oxygen sensor? What role does the nitrogen and oxygen sensor play in the process of controlling exhaust emission?

Nitrogen and oxygen sensor is a sensor used to detect nitrogen and oxygen compounds in diesel engine exhaust. The NOx sensor will upload the detected NOx concentration data to the on-board computer (i.e. ECU), and the ECU will control the urea injection amount of SCR system according to the data, so as to reduce NOx emission and realize OBD monitoring of SCR components. In other words, if there is no nitrogen and oxygen sensor, ECU can not accurately judge the concentration of nitrogen and oxygen compounds in the tail gas, and then can not accurately control the urea injection amount of SCR. The nitrogen and oxygen compounds in the tail gas of diesel vehicles can not be effectively purified, and their concentration will exceed the national emission standard.

Nitrogen and oxygen sensor is a necessary accessory for heavy-duty diesel vehicles and must be replaced regularly. Under normal conditions, the service life of nitrogen and oxygen sensor is 6000 hours.

It is estimated that the number of diesel vehicles in China will reach 2100 before 2025, and the total demand of after-sales market for nitrogen and oxygen sensors will exceed 32 million. However, in the face of such a huge demand, auto parts people say that it is difficult to find a reliable purchase channel for nitrogen and oxygen sensors, because there are not many manufacturers capable of mass producing high-quality nitrogen and oxygen sensors and delivering them in time in China.

Yunyi electric (stock code 300304), founded in July 2001, has 22 years of R & D and production experience in the auto parts industry. As the only nitrogen and oxygen sensor manufacturer with OEM production experience in China, Yunyi Electric has a highly integrated industrial chain and strong production capacity, which can provide customers with high-quality nitrogen and oxygen sensors in a short time.

In Yunyi people's view, creating value for customers is the only reason for the existence of enterprises. Facing the huge potential market of nitrogen and oxygen sensors, Yunyi electric always insists on thinking from the perspective of customers, and provides customers with high-quality supply through strong R & D and production capacity, so as to create value for customers and help customers achieve business success.
